I really do like having classic available, it brings back so many good (and bad) memories. I’d like to try and emulate some of the quality of life improvements that have happened over the years in classic. Are there any suggestions on what mods to use?
Do you have any specifics on what you’re looking for? I use ElvUI and it reminds me of my retail UI with regards to bags/bars/raid frames.
As far as modding graphics and such, blizzard doesn’t allow it and I think previously some flagged warden for it and got banned.
What else were you hoping for?
I’m using ElvUI also. Things like making the quest tracker better, just an example because I have a mod for that, and such. Over the years there have been so many improvements in the game that previously you needed a mod to do. Not really graphical improvements.
Your question is too general. There are tens of thousands of addons, and ALL of them improve play in some way, so ALL of them fit your question.
Has anyone researched and created a list of features that WERE an addon in Vanilla, and later in retail become part of the game? Probably not, if that is what you are asking about.
It would be better to list the things that you personally miss in Classic, and ask if there is an addon that does each of those things. People can anwer that.
