Baseline Obliterate gets reduced by armor, something that you should have known since you “play the game”.
I was right, you were wrong, you can ignore it all you want your suggestion is bad and would make it so baseline Howling Blast is prioritized over basline Obliterates.

99.9% of the time you run devo in pve and conc in pvp.
occasionaly mount speed in pvp in like AV.

Last time I’ve checked, the Night Elves were originally Trolls until we tapped into the Well of Eternity.
And then the sections of Night Elves broke off into Quel’Thalas to keep their Magical Culture and then become High Elves… and then when the Scourge came, Blood Elves… then Void Elves.
So in a sense, you’re right! We’re trolls! Originally! We’ve evolved beyond that!
