So, while there may not be many of us running around these days, there are still people who participated in the pre-WotLK event and acquired this set:
I love the armor, but the gloves always felt like they didn’t really match. I was running around on my Paladin alt, when I noticed these NPCs just standing around:
The model for the “correct” gloves for the Blessed Battlegear of Undead Slaying are clearly in the game, so why not update the gloves from the pre-WoLK with the “correct” model?
I’m not asking for the matching belt, helm, and boots (although I wouldn’t say no either), just a quick update to the current player gloves.

I prefer these gloves than the set gloves for that specific reason.
Because it’s been this way for years and changing it now would just ruin some other peoples’ transmogs. Like they did when they changed the cobalt shoulders and all of its lookalikes from blue to brown randomly.
I guess that was fixed the next patch, but point still stands.
They’ve corrected item appearances as recently as BFA’s launch, and it personally messed with one of my transmogs and some others I saw posting about it.
The posts didn’t seem to bother Blizzard any, and they shouldn’t. Sure it sucks to have to fish around for something else, but if it was a mistake, I’d prefer they correct it.
Besides, knowing them they’d still keep the ‘mistake’ appearance somewhere else. Might just toss it into the island reward pool or something lmao
