COMMENTARY: We were told this initially but then @WoWDevs changed their minds and say it didn’t .
I’m 100% positive when Sylvanas comes back they’ll claim time does flow differently and she was in the maw for 10,000 years for what was 10 years for us.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Or they will have Chromie bring her back into our time from the future when she is done serving 10,000 years in the maw.

I doubt Sylvanas will be coming back anytime soon. She likely has been shelved with Illidan as retired characters never to be seen again.

Patch 10.1, Sylvanas flies over the Dragon Isles on Sapphiron. “Yo, I brought the Undead Dragonflight for this expansion.”

It was established in both Legion and WotLK that time even in the Veil is perceived differently, however I think most people’s problems were that they inserted their OWN narratives into the mix out of desperation hoping time moved faster in the Shadowlands, when in reality it moved more like Narnia or the portal realm from Rick and Morty, faster even if merely by perception.
Sounds good to me, 10 years for us means she reappears in the story in 2032. That works

Where did they say it didn’t? And how is it mockery?
Time simply doesn’t exist in an entirely different realm that isn’t reality. Thus, things may seem quicker or longer.
So it does move differently— in our perception, because it doesn’t exist at all there.

Science is pretty sure that at least in part a person’s mental state can affect reality around them if they can attain hypermental states.
And while The Shadowlands may not have normal time flow, once the living stepped into it they at least might affect said rate of time passage relative to the lands of the living.
It’s difficult to affect something that doesn’t exist.

Clear mandela effect for this topic and people over-indulging in something so as to force a hope (aka time skip has to mean wow2 nonsense).
There is no time dilation and the comments about time unusualness stem entirely from the external factors affecting the characters perception of it.

If this does happen, at least it means she’s out of the game for 10 expansions.
Imagine how happy the community would be if the April 19th reveal is that the next expansion is going to be not only focusing on Sylvannas, but literally just called Sylvannas.

They’ll make her have a twin sister nobody knew about until now. (Since they are worse than soap opera writers, why not?)

Yes, we understand that Anduin comes back as an old white Man, just like in the Comic (Legion)…

I’m sure Sanavlys would be very well-received. /s

MOCKERY: I can’t wait for 10 boring years of Anduin, Jaina, Thrall and Baine being best buddies and blizzard confused why people hate the story… I mean i guess this will appeal to ff14 player but in the west people are fine with not being morally good 100% of the time.
COMMENTARY: there’s a reason that Death Knights and Demon Hunter are more popular than Monks.
There’s a reason people like The Dark Brotherhood from Skyrim or the Zerg is a fan favorite from Starcraft. HELL even look at league of legends Arcane Jinx and Viktor are absolutely adored where boring Alliance-esque characters like Jayce no one gives a flying flip about.
And all the haters in the forum go…

What doesn’t exist?
Reality?
Reality is both the dream and the dreamer.
Reality is both the hologram and the cold hard truth simulating itself.
Reality is not only what we sometimes believe it can be, said Reality can also be whatever I, you, or we need it to be.
Reality is quite real.
If you want proof, I will ask the various quanta representatives to visit you once you’re ready. This will likely be in your dreams to start.
10 years. So 3.5 expansions.
10 expansions in 10 years? More like 2-3
