I cast vanish and agro mobs continue to chase me pulling me out of vanish. Even after 2nd vanish, they kept chasing me. None of the mobs see stealth. This keeps happening and happening.
It is a known issue, and rogues have told blizz about the vanish bug. They havent fixed it yet.

for me vanishing from mobs almost always works. it’s pvp that’s mixed. many times I’ll get immediately revealed in PvP, and it wasn’t from a DoT or any kind of reveal. not sure what the cause is.

blizzards already got their money from the expansion - they aren’t going to fix ****… they’ve completely ignored half of the player base having to sit in hour queues for battlegrounds
At least it’s authentic.

From everything I’ve read about this makes me believe that vanish isn’t necessarily bugged but that there is some real server lag issues causing this to happen with a ton of abilities and not just vanish

yes I agree, it feels lag/latency related.
It is working fine to me. Maybe lag?
There is a delay on combat drop and the improved stealth component of vanish that you can play around by putting a little distance between you and the attackers.
Cloak of shadows also has this same delay.
It’s a game problem and blizzard hasn’t fixed it yet.
