Mobs are overtuned and followers are useless to help

I understand it’s a new area but I shouldn’t lose 75% of my health fighting three regular mobs.

To make matters worse, having warmode and your life constantly dropping for someone to get an easy kill on you doesn’t make these new area fun at all.

Are you sure you aren’t fighting in the “elite” areas?

I havent had issue mass pulling normal mobs.

I have no issues solo tanking packs of 7+ enemies why is everyone complaining?

I don’t understand why they make us tote around this useless NPC anyway, can’t I just turn some macguffins into him like a normal rep grind instead of having this guy tag along getting in the way?

Seriously, bro. Just stay back at base, you aren’t helping.

Other than that, I’ve had no real issues with fighting mobs. They hit like a wet sock, so I’m in no danger of dying, but they do have a bunch of HP so it can take me a while to kill things at times, but that may be because of this janky scaling system and my current ilvl.

I never pull more than one mob as a Rogue at this ilvl. I can survive 3+ mobs but it’s going to be dicey. Use CC if you need too.

I actually have to think about my route and what im pulling, i love it reminds me of when the game actually took planning and thought when fighting enemies instead of rounding up a pack and just aoeing it down.

Where did this “should” come from? I play every class (and all 36 subspecs) and 90% of the time I DIE when I fight 3 regular my-level mobs.

Maybe you are used to fighting mobs BELOW your level. You struggle through the new expansion until you max up and gear out and are iLevel 400, while all the mobs you fight stop at 120. So they are way below your level, and you can fight 3 of them easily.

Welcome to the real world, where mobs are at your level.

I know how to play my class and OP isnt telling a lie. If the flame essence didnt heal rogues would be in trouble.

Certain classes dont have a pet tanking for them and dont have self sustain. Rogyes have a 30 sec cd heal. Classes like DK have permanent self healing as l9ng as there resource is generating. Ita diff for specs like Arms and Assass.

Started out rough but once my boy hit rank 3 and he learned his heal for me, it made me near unkillable. I’m having little trouble now.

I was some what fine but those dang murlocs (kill 25 of them) hit freaking hard (casting whatever they hit me with).

I did this one as Blood, was actually fun fighting like 8 of them at once and finally see my healthbar move while not being in an instance.

They’re also way too close together making kiting without pulling adds near impossible. That is not good for casters.

Yea I thought about switching to prot myself and rock on.

Followers were really good in legion, a rare success for the dev team. In BFA, they are pretty useless.

I swear the ilvl scaling is way way worse then before the patch. The mobs are way harder to kill even in the old 8.x areas. The mobs have certainly been secretly buffed, yet again, without a reason.

It seems we never are allowed to feel powerful anymore.

They aren’t broken… but they are annoying. The caster’s have that water ability that constantly spawns hard hitting water spouts under you. My DH barely notices but it’s murder on my warlock since i have to constantly move and can’t dps.

The ones that spam tridents at me are beyond annoying, they’re the ones I hate. I’ve pulled 5-8 mobs and be happily burning them down and suddenly I’m being pelted by tridents flying into view from off the screen.

Damn man you are 415ilvl. Even my fresh 266 ilvl alt made it through and could take on multiple mobs after some benthic upgrades.
