Mobile WoW!

I am on a plane for the first time in a long time right now and thought how cool it would be if I could play WoW on my mobile device. I just connected to the WiFi and saw I could access these forums (and movies that will stream) and thought how wonderful it would be if I could play WoW!

Dragonflight while in flight? Yes please

Blizzard should really make this a reality, even if the functionality is subpar compared to the full computer experience.

Would you guys like something like this, so you could farm herbs at work or something??

I would love WoW Mobile, hoping Blizz’s team sees this

You totally could. Remote into your PC and connect a bluetooth keyboard and mouse to your phone. Or get a Steamdeck.

How do I remote connect to a PC, is there a good app for that?

Buy a Steam Deck and you can have this today. It’s a “real” PC in a Nintendo Switch type form factor.

People have already used them to play WoW and they work great.

make another wow for that. call it wow-lite or something.

im not interested in everything being simplified and automated for the sake of silly phone gamers.

*steam deck doesnt worry me as much they got actual controls. its the damn phone gamers im worried about.

Plenty, could use Windows built in RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) which has a phone app or something like Teamviewer.

Wow that’s actually incredible I am going to look into one. Technology has come so far we don’t even need Blizzard to make the things we want.

This isn’t a problem with input mirroring ban?

Not that I know of. I used to play WoW all the time from work using Teamviewer.

Lmao “Volume Up=Shift modifier” :joy::joy:

Teamviewer free only lets you remote in an hour at a time though so you have to reconnect every hour which is annoying. But luckily my work pays for my Teamviewer now B)

If your computer has Bluetooth, you can set your phone to a mobile hot spot.

If it’s also lenient enough where you can play at work Arrghus I might just need to relocate, any open positions amidst the great resignation? :joy:

Playing on public wifi is excellent account security. :+1:

Lol I know I am a pleb but hey it’s fun being able to use wifi at places and I’ve only been hacked once and it wasn’t in WoW, it’s kind of past it’s prime so that’s the good news, who wants to delete my level 28 Nightborne :joy:

There’s bigger fish to fry for these people like Fortnite or whatever the big game is now. Valorant?

the steam deck picture broke the thread for me lol.

theres a scoll bar on the bottom now

reminds me of the 1998 websites , just need a bunch of obvious frames and bad css

Yeah I was surprised by that, I guess the link preview CSS doesn’t enforce a maximum thumbnail width even though that’s trivially easy to do.

You should play Hearthstone. It’s a Warcraft flavored game and is great for when you have a few minutes to kill, but unable to play WoW.

I would not. I’m too obsessive over the game as it is.
