I am having issues with my Authenticator. I have deleted and re-added it to my phone multiple times, and the forums and WOW both recognize that it is installed. However, when I attempt to start a group for a Mythic+ dungeon, it tells me that “You can’t edit this field until your protect your account with the Battle.Net Authenticator and SMS Protect.”
Please help, as I am unable to start my own Mythic+ groups until the issue is resolved.

often this could mean having to reboot your cell phone after adding new apps. Plus make sure that your account reflects the new updated number. Plus in some cases it has been said that after adding new numbers etc. one should enter the game and play a while then log out. Log back to check the settings. I would not suggest doing raid etc while the system is calculating the new number. Lastly, resetting the UI can also offer a fix to this.
Just to note here that if you have a new Sims card in a new phone. the system sees this as a possible security risk as it doesn’t recognize the new login. in that same instances, if you’ve moved to a new location and try to login etc… this sets off a signal as a possible security risk.
