They are spawning faster then BFA repaswn some times spawning before you even finish the pack right after. This needs to be fixed asap since its making questing without a group not doable. I cant complete the bloodsail buccaneer quest cause the mobs on the ship spawn so Fing fast. You kill one room and the other room is reset and vice versa.
Pretty sure that was intended as a group quest to begin with. And respawn rates are based on the number of people in the area so guess what, thatâs what you get.
This is why they gave hunters more then auto shoot as useful abilities after classic. They all stood around with their [Nifty Stopwatches] and made spreadsheets of mob spawn times to post on the forums years later.
What on earth does that have to do with respawn rates?
OP is saying he canât complete the quest solo because by the time he kills one room they respawn.
A group kills things faster so they donât run into this problem⌠aka OP is taking too long to kill things.

I have no idea if they changed the respawn rates but I like the fast spawns. I just got done sharing Felpaw village with an Alliance hunter. He took one side of the lake and I took the other and we didnât have to fight it out.
Group quests are about the difficulty of the fights, not the difficulty of keeping ahead of respawns. There are places where you could be the only one in the vicinity and the respawns are nearly instant, like the 1k Needles harpy cave. But hey, if you just want to be argumentative, by all means continue.
And fast respawning mobs donât make the fight more difficult? The point is that with fast respawns it takes a group to take them down fast enough to complete the quest, that âisâ the increased difficulty.
With the amount of players AND the amount of knowledge/addons that we have now compared to back then itâs a pretty welcome change imo.
The respawn is taken into consideration for the amount of people playing.
I get some things might need fixing, but this is the problem with the community. You have no idea what an actual issue is til youâre on the other side complaining about an issue of your making.

This why mine and cave quests are easier with groups. You can charge in, leaving ruin behind you and then charge back out through an empty tunnel system.
In contrast as a solo player, itâs common to work your way in, only to find you have to fight your way back out â and it might even be worse if you came in when it was partially empty in the first place to have it respawned now just with the static mobs, but the roving pats as well.
You know, OP, when I look up a non-elite quest that is yellow to me, and see that old comments say it is âeasily soloableâ at my level or even lower, yet the mob respawn rate, density, and health of the mobs means it canât possibly be soloed, I just assume that this is one of the changes devs put into the game to make it align better with their modern concept of âwhat classic should have beenâ.
I just drop the quest. Thereâs too many non-elite quests that have been âadjustedâ to force players to group up in order to play at all. If they have changed the game to make it impossible to do non-elite quests solo, then I wonât do them.
Life is too short to waste my time trying to put together groups in deserted zones (deserted for this very reason, that quests canât be soloed and nobody wants to do them!) when I could be doing a quest here or there or grinding mobs for fun and profit.
Yea these spawns are insane. I remember in Vanilla they would have bigger gaps between spawns, like, representing the amount of time it took to kill each, now, if one spawns back you know the rest are about to come back immediately.
Makes cave, boat and building quests very difficult to solo. It was frustrating doing this over and over on an alt now, I donât wanna do quests like Chasing A-Me, Homing Beacons and Bloodsail Buccaneers itâs just so much BS.
Please change respawn timers to individual spawns not the whole group, that was how it was in vanilla
Amazingly Iâve completed this twice without any problems with respawns as no doubt have many other hundreds of thousands of characters ⌠mob density is a bit harsh but that simply means you need to be careful.

Good grief, in what world should instant respawns be acceptable? Some of you cannot see how absurd you look as you carry that vast amount of water for blizzard.
The OP was complaining about fast respawns, not instant respawns, quit making things up.

So, where were your instant respawns then, since you decided to change the topic of the thread. I have yet to see instant respawns on any of my toons.
P.S. Plus if you are having repeated instant respawns anywhere that is a bug and this is the wrong forum for bug reporting.
Imagine complaining that mobs spawn fast. This is why people canât afford their mounts at 40 If there are extra mobs, kill them. Make that gold, gain those experience points, find that accidental blue or purple BoE. The more non-quest mobs you kill on a regular basis, the better off you are, just objectively.
