im questing on am alt rightnow and come across a treasure chest i cant loot the chest without a mob spawning and attacking me it’s like they pushed up dynamic spawn it wasn’t even like this day one so why now…i also noticed this with hogger
he also respond on top of me like 20 seconds after killing him and in launch day it was like 10 minutes

I’ve had this issue too. I remember dying to a Defias Pillager in Gold Coast Quarry because I had already killed him three times and he continued to immediately respawn before I could even loot his predecessors’ corpses.
I noticed something similar on my human warrior alt, when doing the level 10 weapon quest. By the time I was done healing from fighting two mobs near the chest you have you loot, the quest mob had respawned. It didn’t end up being a problem, but I thought it curious how quickly the quest mob respawned, when I remember being in the barrens waiting for a quillboar boss to respawn for like 15-20 minutes.

Dynamic spawns are great. It’s better then layering for sure.
killing yeti today in feralas.
moments of nothing in sight and no respawns for a few minuets
other times was mass respawns b4 all were killed.

I saw hogger like every 10s on launch. No idea what you’re talking about.
Honestly, there might be some validity to this. Respawns seem so much faster than Vanilla.
The mob respawn rate for the Samoplange quest is LOLOLOL.

That will happen if there are lots of people in the area.
And it doesn’t take many, either. I prefer solo questing because every time groups run through areas I’m in, it screws up spawn times.
Great for kill quests, not so great if your down in a cave fighting same-level mobs and 10 just respawned.
Also, dragging mobs across players so they get put in combat when opening a chest is an -hole thing to do.
just be happy the you don’t have to wait 4-5 hours for the 50 horde players to finish just so you can get a kill without getting camped.
