Mob Level VS Resist

Having the mobs that you need to farm for end game crafting resist 50%+ of your spells is not hard. It’s annoying.

Blizzard, you really need to learn this distinction.

The top end level cap of mobs should be 55. Meaning 55 mobs should still be yellow to you and resist at the same contention that level 50 does.

Before you say the ‘bUT clASsiC’, you could get to 60 in Azeroth in classic. Having zones and mob sets with level 54/55+ that resist practically everything is ridiculous.

Edit: All I am saying is, they clearly want this to be more than a ‘raid log’ game. So, if they made simple adjustments they would definitely retain more people.

Classic world has more danger, and level differences matter. Welcome.

i think its just an unfortunate side effect of the “blocked-off” leveling brackets for SoD testing phases.

it wont be an actual real issue when we reach endgame next phase. It’s not perfect that some classes like melee/hunter are able to actually be able to hit the mobs and farm reliably, while casters just get 13 spells in a row resisted and then im OOM before can even land 1 cast.

but again, this is a very unusually rare unintended aspect of the leveling bracket experimentation progress of SoD and wont be an issue once we reach the endgame 60.

You’re missing my point. In classic you could get to the level where there wouldn’t be this drastic difference. So, no, there was not more danger.

This is exactly what it is, which is why the zone should be groomed to accommodate the level 50 cap, at least until the next season is out.

You also wouldn’t be going to those places this early, and you would be hit capped.

Need runecloth, need felcloth. Should I try to conjure it with water?

Bring literally 1 friend.

I’m getting plenty of runecloth without farming specifically.

Felcloth would be farm, but it drops from 50+ satyrs in Felwood so your complaint is a nothing burger.

you could level an alt that can kill those mobs.

just like i leveld an alt mage to be able to aoe farm efficiently to make gold/boost and cant do it on my melee character.

this stuff is not gonna be perfect during the “unusual blocked off leveling test-brackets of SoD” and also there isnt even a remote chance, dev time will go into changing the zone mobs so casters can have an easier time farming this for the next 6 weeks.

This isn’t the only game I want to play.

Another lesson Blizzard needs to learn.

I was there last night, the camp has 54/55 mobs in it. So yes, it is still valid.

You don’t “need” either of those. You’re level 50. Learn how the game works.

Are you unaware how the crafting system works?

Both are needed for crafting…

While I agree with the sentiment, SoD historically has been first few weeks rush then raidlogging or STV. This phase feels no different.

Just do 1 hour of hinterlands incs and buy them off the AH lol? You are making yourself do it the hardway and complaining about it being hard.

As stated, not hard. Annoying. Please denote the difference.

Okay, I would also substitute it for “longer way” as well. Which again proves my point lol.

Felcloth is currently 7-8 gold per, need 8 for the shoulders. That’s just ONE of the mats. Don’t have that much gold to drop on a crafted item.

1 hour of no kill hinterlands is 100g+. Buy you 12 and a half felcloth.

no cause i have hit…

What mobs are you farming? I spend a half hour every day farming Fel Cloth ands Rune Cloth and have zero issues. The mobs I’m fighting are capped at 53.

Felwood, top left.

Go to the Ruins near the middle to the West. The Ruins of Constellas. The mobs cap out at 53 ands are much easier to deal with.
