i have never died so much the first two day’s of an expansion launch then dragonflight simply killing a single mob prooves to be more challange then it should be 9/10 times i die instead of the mob my health just drops as if i have zero gear on its incredibly frustrating and makes leveling feel more dificult then it should be leveling should be a challenge but this is just overkill straped with rockets
What’s your ilvl cause right now I’m cutting through mobs like a white hot knife through butter.
yeah im destroying everything with the free 252 ilvl they gave us in prepatch
My chars in the 270-290+ ilvl range aren’t really having problems. The only reason my hunter has died is trying to take on a lvl 70 elite while lvl 60.
I don’t recommend that experiment.
The last couple (at least) expansions have started with ilvl below what you could get by running instances. Given that the catch-up gear from the Elemental Event was 252, if you’re below that, yeah, you’ll probably have to be careful. And if you’re getting better gear from mobs, then you really need to be careful.
admitedly my gear level is 217 and health 53.120 but mobs seems to just rip that to shreds in like 5 to 6 hits
That would be it. It hasn’t been like that for a while, but let me reassure you, this is how Burning Crusade started out. Those stupid boars would rip you to shreds until you got some of the catch-up gear.
Go slow. Maybe bring a friend along, work as a team. And if you have a friend who’s a crafter, maybe they can help you out - I know that early cloth armor from a tailor starts at 303, is made early on, and for not that many mats. Other armor should be the same.
