It feels real good, missing out on trading post items because we can’t get enough tendies to buy everything each month. I can’t get the neat Harvest Golem outfit with claws because I buy all the cloaks, hoods, sarongs, and gloves each month. I’ve had an item frozen for like six months because I can never get enough tendies for it and still get what I want each month.

Either we need more tendies to be unlockable each month, or we need an alternate way to generate more. We have the whole traveler’s log to do each month. Why can’t we get extra for completing more stuff? Is there any actual benefit to limiting the cosmetic items we can get? Wouldn’t it be better to give people something to actually work towards each month, if they want, rather than the trading post being relevant for the first two days of a month at best? C’mon Blizz.

this isnt a bad idea. doesnt have to be a lot or anything. i end up doing way more anyways.

It’s not intended to be another grind. Just some bonus stuff you get for playing the game as you normally would.

A grind suggests progress. Which, I grant, would happen if you run through and actually do everything in the guide. But we’re talking about cosmetic items that may or may not be available again. So you either get to miss out on the stuff you collect for a big item, or continue your collection and miss out on the big items. And that feels bad. I’d rather get rewarded for putting the time in to collect extra tendies to get both.

And again, they’re optional cosmetic items that have no influence on gameplay. Why not make them all available every month? There’s no reason for the limitation.
