Moaning suggestively emote (please remove)

LOL! +1, that is the best solution yet!

Thank you, have a great day everyone. Hope everyone gets BIS loot drops this week!!!

To be quite honest, if you are looking for a ‘safe space’ on the internet you are probably looking in the wrong place regardless of the location.

There is a huge difference between abuse and an emote. There are tools in game to resolve the issue if it is something you don’t like starting with ignore. If it is ‘bad’ enough there is also the reporting feature.

The objection to threads like this, at least from me, is that whether an emote is good or bad is subject to interpretation and falls under ‘change the channel’ rather than say someone else can’t use it.

In the example above, the emote wasn’t the problem the user was, and rather than requesting that something be removed from the game, deal with the person responsible. Report the actions.

Weird, the other thread (that got deleted) you said men shouldn’t have rights to use emotes because you “have a boyfriend”

Then you went harassing one who was abused emotionally irl

this is what the ignore option is for, if someone is harassing you with emotes just right click em and choose either Ignore or report for spam and either option will make all their emotes go away.

But in reality i’d just do what the others suggested, emote back at them.

I want a penguin following me everywhere :x

Sure can,you can shut off everything in the chat settings. (right-click on chat link window)You never have to see a say/emote/yell or whatever again. It makes for a much nicer experience.

At this point, I’m pretty sure the OP is just trolling with all these threads or super sensitive and should be locked in the basement for her own safety.

Is it just me, or does this OP always posts these threads and then never return to comment?

But then how will I let KT players know how gorgeous I find them? ;_;

The word Pie.

It can mean something wholesome, or something not so wholesome. Why is this? It’s because humans are really good at making up double meanings for things. If we don’t learn to live with this fact then the ultra sensitive people are going to limit human language out of fear until all that is left is a basic grunt… that will then be banned.

The problem in not the word or emote, the problem is our own brains. If you can’t stop yourself from thinking dirty things when someone types or does something, then that’s a you problem in most cases.

There is a old saying: “Take it with a grain of salt”. We can’t get to uppity over things used in a reasonable moderation, we need to learn to glaze past the small dumb things and learn to focus on larger dumb things…like why all the apartments on long island are under a monopoly making it so no one can afford to rent. You know LARGE stupid stuff that we SHOULD be using our internet rage to destroy.

Because if OP does then it’ll be more obvious they’re trolling.

Heck no, stop removing things!

This reminds me of one time when, out of the blue, a male human character walked up to me as I was going through my bags at the bank. He stared at me a bit, before saying:

“I paw ur thigh, u moan.”

I took a moment to consider a reply, and came up with:

“I break your fingers, you cry.”

Dumb thread is dumb, as an rper I’ve been the target of harassment MANY times be it emotes, toys or body blocking. The blizzard options are to /ignore, move and move. At least emotes can be poofed by ignoring unlike certain toys or oversized mounts.

To me the emotes are fine. Not to throw ideas out there, but… There is one dude that sometimes shows up in Boralis from a different realm that pulls up right behind you spamming a toy, probably the football toy. It makes it look like he’s getting busy and super annoying.

You can yourself, by hiding the emote chat option.

The point is RP. If you’re having a problem with legit harrassment, report them.
