after a 2 game win streak our MMR was 50 points above our personal ratings, after we won a third it jumped to almost 90 points.
we were both exactly 1336, with a 1420 MMR…fighting against people with the same MMR who are actually personally rating of 1450+
our gear is capped at 197 essentially because we can’t upgrade the few 200s i have. sucks to get behind especially when i will my GV with choices and get trinkets or repeats of the two items i already own.

ur mmr will increase faster than your cr if you’re winning games consistantly. Once you start going 50/50 it will even out to your CR.

I thought as much, and after 90 games it evens out until we get a win streak. like inflates really quick, almost feel like it’s bugged?
win streak tells game ur too good for your current cr, so it puts you against higher mmr people.
if your mmr is higher than your CR that is good. It means you are winning games. Keep quing and you will break the CR threshold and gain access to better gear.
point of mmr is so every player reaches 50/50 winrate as soon as possible while trying to limit the amount of experienced players going against noobs

The reason your mmr goes up after a win streak is because the game notices that your playing better than your CR and puts you against higher teams, which in turn gives you more rating per win to raise your CR faster

Gearing system is destroying rated arenas. Playing alts through arenas is a nightmare atm.

It’s bananas in RBGs. You can queue into duelist teams with a yolo 1300 alt team if you win like 5 in a row.
Not really, it’s just the best fit for how i feel. Sisyphus is a character from Greek mythology who went to hell and had to push a rock up, and it becomes steeper the higher he goes until he falls back down and has to try again.
You can be almost fully geared off straight conquest. My 4th alt is 210 and I hit 60 last week. Only 5 pieces of 197 gear.
