There’s been an update on the mmr situation from blizz, next Tuesday they will be adding a substantial amount of inflation.
It will be interesting to see how much a substantial amount of inflation is.
To do a before and after check I’ll add this data here to check back later.

If the bracket was saturated with more players you probably wouldn’t notice a major difference like you have and/or got burnt out.
Less bodies means longer queue times and a lesser constant disperssion of MMR.
