so ive been running across alot quiters in SS…doesnt look they lose mmr …just cr …so if they lose the first couple matches they just quit…cause hey they dont lose mmr so no big deal …and its happening alot …thanx to peeps have such high (1800-2000)mmr to start the season …im thinking they should lose 150 mmr as well as the 150 cr …that’s whole lot of lobby to quit on…one more example of a flawed rating/ queuing system…just sayin

They still lose the mmr for the rounds they lost + the 150 cr. The reason you don’t lose 150 mmr is for those times when you dc “especially when it’s blizzards servers fault”. It would suck to be penalized that much for something like that.

The worst shuffles are the ones where a healer and dps played together for 3 straight rounds and lost them all.
Players with confidence see it to the 4th round to prove it wasn’t them. Others just rage quit.
I think the system is not perfect, but it’s probably the best one.
I’m also skeptical that losing 150 cr isn’t a significant deterrent to most players.
Well, sort of. The way rounds are handled is that MMR adjustments aren’t really done until a round has finished and the players have been reset back into the starting room.
If they had remaining rounds play out as if the leaver had lost then they could distribute mmr.
Again, this requires that mmr is distributed and getting 40-60 CR and 50-100 mmr for loading in and having somebody alt f4 insta causes some issues. 
Means nothing at low cr because that’s one and a half rounds won and you get to dodge a horrific or unfun lobby.
had one yesterday where the first 3 rounds the healer on my side was afk. The 4th round he went to the other team and was still afk. The next 2 rounds he started playing. Got 2 wins which is a loss. Its a silly game mode
those lobbies are hilarious especially when the healer gets all mouthy “dude your the worst dps your going 0-6” then its the healer that ends up going 0-6 /giggle

I just suffered two straight 1-5 lobbies as Resto Shaman. I can’t seem to beat Pres Evokers in melee cleaves. Nullifying Shroud is so strong and not having the globals to purge it hurts.
Pretty busted ability if you ask me.

i was like 2087 on my ret pally about to get duelist and i had about 6 or 7 straight games with afkers and trolls. there was even one guy who was a BC resto druid Glad player who had an exact 50-50 winrate with 4000 rounds, he would just cyclone every time i was about to kill and keep the guy alive. inentional trolling guy tanked my rating liek 200 points.
