Has anyone stacking mastery been able to get up to 60 yards yet? What is the highest you can get to

Pretty much.
While it can be done, you’ll sacrifice useful stats for the benefit of your range with reduced haste and crit.

Wow. Imagine having a 70 yard range in battlegrounds.

its very possible to get to 53-54 maybe even 55 if you stack mastery on every piece and gem/enchant mastery and run masterful navigation. with snipershot you can get 70-75+ yards easy. i have 1959 mastery which is 49 yards, if i regem/enchant mastery i can prob push it over 2500+.

I got as high as 49 yds, but I’m not too concerned about range as I used to be, given the mobility of melee and all that…

Pretty much this. There are so many gap closers that 40 yards instantly becomes 4 yards. Even against caster classes, who also like staying at range, you can easily have los obstructions

And guess what? You’ll even see good players using their mobility in the inverse.
If you think you get to engage people at max range the whole time, boy you got another thing coming when all a melee has to do is 1) use mobility to get beyond 49 yards, 2) wait for combat to end, 3) mount up, and 4) initiate combat right at melee range.
It’s useful if you have a healthy expectation of engaging the enemy at 25-30 yards. In case they do try to run off, you have more wiggle room for getting in more damage and a better ability to adjust.
I really really want to try this now. I always thought it would be super fun to play this way. I love kindred in league of legends because her range continues to grow as she stacks completed “hunts.”
