I’ve often stated something like this, especially where Legion Artifact Weapons came in.
I felt like that bow and quiver were definitely more BM slated than MM.
I see a marksman wielding a gun much better than a bow and arrow - it’s more clunky and has more steps to be used(the bow and arrow, that is). But then with this mindset I’m pulling in reality over fantasy.
At least allow us to mog either one onto whatever we’re playing as, esp now that it’s a past xpac.
I agree but my hunters use crossbows because most guns are way too big for them and they look silly, like they’d fall over once they pulled the cannon out.
My one Mag’har hunter is survival and she uses a katana which looks really cool when she does that sweeping strike, I forget what it’s called.
Ah well, what’cha gonna do. Maybe one day they’ll put in a gun or two that fits BEs.
When a medieval english archer can put 10 shots in a 10 inch circle at a mile, lmk. Rifles >>>>>>>>>>>> longbows, any time, any where, every time, every where.
‘Long range’ for them was like 100 yards, 200 at the most. Anyone who can put repeated rounds on a small target at a mile is every bit as skilled and is dealing with more variables and not just volley firing against massed infantry across a medieval battlefield.
Marksmen in game use bows (See: Night Elves, Blood Elves, etc.) Dwarves only use guns for aesthetic reasons. Beast Masters would never risk using a gun near their pet.
If anything, guns have no place in the hunter class, they fit the tinker class more.
Its magic, even the technology in WoW uses magic. Everything from your hat to your shoes is magic. The dirt is magic, the air is magic, im magic, youre magic, we are all magic. The bows and arrows and guns and bullets are all magic. Logic has no place here, magic prevails.
These always worked well for me. Simple enough and sized right for Belfs
I switch back and forth. My hunter is currently using bows, but I will change to a rifle, soon. I love guns, own quite a few, but a lot of the guns are either fugly or too big even on my lady orc. I did modify the sound profile for them, not too loud but not to sound like an airsoft, kiddie gun, either. lol
Rifling wasn’t really a thing until mid 19th century, but I didn’t say early rifles and I was simply comparing real world english longbows, which are volley fire and not individual targeting to the accuracy of a real world modern precision rifle using a long range cartridge
