Why is MM not allowed to have access to blood lust while using lone wolf? Please allow MM to bring blood lust to mythic plus. This outdated archaic design needs to be corrected come shadowlands. Thank you
I could get behind that. Depends how it’s executed.
Why does my rogue not have access to bloodlust while not playing this toon? Please allow my alts to use my spells in mythic plus. This outdated archaic design needs to be corrected. Thank you.
I dunno. If you dont want to use a pet you don’t get to have their skills either?
Well the rogue argument makes zero sense. Your argument would be more similar to not having lust available as ele or resto. That would be straight dumb would you not agree?
Not if it was restricted to that spec.
Why can’t ele or resto drop healing tide totem? Because it’s spec specific. You choose to use lone wolf for the 10% damage bonus that your pet could probably bring. There’s always a give or take. My previous comment was to point out how absurd your request is.
Either bring your pet out, bring drums, or play a different spec if access to that one spell is important to you.
Let’s get rid of blood lust for ele. Or make it have a 6 sec cast time just for ele. What dumb class design lol. Healing tide, again is a stupid argument. We are not talking about healing cds here lol. Blood lust should be readily available to all hunter specs without archaic clunky design. Who would disagree with this really? Some people…
I don’t think it is absurd. Lust is usable by MM, just not when the pet’s dismissed which is somewhat arbitrary when you look at warlock’s access to their pets’ abilities even after sacrificing them.
He’s requesting a quality of life change, not to intrude on other specs’ identities. He isn’t exactly asking for bestial wrath here.
Either that, or create a new class, Ranger, that is a ranged archer who doesn’t have a pet at all.
Just summon your pet when you need lust then dismiss it when you get a spare 3 seconds, that’s what all good hunters do, same for pet freedom and pet sac.
Oh no, poor mm hunters have to bring out a pet for a few seconds to lust.
What about 90% of other dps specs that don’t have lust period, with drums even being nerfed come Shadowlands?
Grimoire of Sacrifice specifically gives the warlock access to that power, which is how it’s designed.
It’s also only available for two specs via a talent, not all three.
Neat idea, but in shadowlands dismiss pet is 6 sec. so blood lust should be a 6 sec cast time along with a damage penalty just for MM? I’m sorry but this design just makes no sense.
What if the character doesn’t have a pet? The whole point of playing Lone Wolf is not to have a pet.
They have more damage or other compensations. Give those to Lone Wolf and that works too.
Then you don’t have access to lust, plain and simple.
I think we should take lust away from ele too. Need to keep that spec identity. Take away warrior shout from arms too. And brez from feral. Stupid logic…
Well your character starts with a pet so you would have had to deliberately abandon it, if you want to hinder yourself expect to find your gameplay hindered.
Right, and perhaps call pet should be designed such that the hunter can access the abilities of their first stabled pet while none are out. MM is burdened to trade utility for damage in dismissing their pet while the other specs have no rime or reason to dismiss their pet ever.
Let’s take away arcane int from fire. And mystic touch should be WW only.
No, revive pet is 6 seconds, dismiss pet is 3 seconds.
