There’s no way this spec is tuned correctly when they can one-shot you outside of trueshot aura.

God forbid anything be able to kill Mages and Spriests huh. If people are unironically queuing Marksman / Caster / heal as an answer to the meta that’s more indicative of how fried Mages are than anything because you aren’t going to sit here and tell me Marksman has no counters.

2 aimed shots = half a health bar, buddy. Not to mention you guys get procs so maybe even 3 sometimes.
I don’t think the issue is how an aimed shot works, but how random your burst damage can be with back-to-back procs. It’s virtually impossible to know if you’ll get 50 to 0 in a second or 2.

Fun game blizz. This all happened inside of about 30 seconds from the time the gates opened. Died through Voidshift, Dark Pact, AND Unending Resolve (the latter at the same time). I also coiled both the heals & DPS into this opener. Didn’t matter.

Rewrite marks is intentionally built such that you’re not ever just spamming aimed shot. Even if you get a lnl proc right after an aimed cast, you still need to spend precise to get another mark. Cheesiest of functions happens when marks presses volley into rapid fire and then gets a lnl proc in the rapid fire. Auto shot time is 5 seconds now and lock and load has no rppm mechanism. I.e. it also happens considerably less often.

Here’s the truth. Most of the people who still arena are lame path of least resistance Mage abusers. There are dozens upon dozens of comps that you could que to ensure no Marksman hunter you run into ever plays the game. But people can’t que those comps because Mages effectively made double meele extinct

It’s bizarre having to use a defensive on Aimed Shot of all things.
This is insane. Imagine a world where Chaos Bolt was uninterruptible. I’m sure everybody in the arena community would BEG for a change.
So true. I have to use dark pact when I can’t LoS the hunter anymore because I don’t know if the next aim shot combo will one-shot me.
Seen nearly 7 million aimed shot crits so far.
