The removal of Unload without proper tuning of the class feels horrible. On ST Unload led to a very smooth playstyle. I understand this talent was most likely removed due to M+ where you need to clip the end of Rapid Fire with Multi. But some of us are in the middle of Prog on the last 2 raid bosses on Mythic and damage is very important. Our raid has two MM hunters so having such a large nerf during prog is really rough and feels so bad. BM and SV are also unviable so its a lame spot to be in right now.

I am spec rank #35 MM hunter in keys for people who play this game and I never knew this was a thing nor was I doing it. Multishot doesn’t do any damage anyways so who cares if your rapid fire procs the arcane shot and then you just dump a raw multishot for the trick shots proc after? That’s what I was doing and I was pulling 400k + overall in keys.
Such a stupid nerf to MM, I feel like Blizzard just wants me to play WoW forever and quit retail.

It’s so dumb because people aren’t playing MM in keys because of the hard cap on targets so their solution was to…nerf the class into the ground in order to make it so that… the multishot we have to hit after the Rapid Fire is buffed?
Yeah, because people totally won’t mind the near 10% nerf in numbers because apparently Blizz thinks what we truly care about is to make sure that no filler spell is cast without a precise shot?
This is not helping the notion that Blizz is just using ChatGPT to design things.

I don’t even think it’s the hard cap on targets, I honestly think it’s just that BM is doing slightly more overall in keys and the downside of their flat damage profile is not an issue in M+ like it is in raid.
Like I said earlier, there is always going to be a “best” spec. It’s not the end of the world if BM is slightly better in keys and MM is slightly better in raid due to damage profiles. MM wasn’t unplayable in M+ before the nerf…now it kinda is.
Before the nerf it was like, BM did slightly better AoE and slightly better ST in keys.
After the nerf, BM does slightly better AoE and massively more ST. Great fix Blizzard.
