Hello everyone,
I am working on trying to tune my MM Hunter build. Currently I am trying to decide between Hunters Knowledge (2 points) with Tactical Reload to focus on the Aimed Shot and Rapid Fire performance.
The other option I have been thinking about is dropping the 3 points above and doing 2 into Precise Shots and 1 into Target Practice to get 100% damage increase and add Arcane shot in to being more than a filler.
Just curious if anyone else has tested this out or has thoughts on it.
To add some flavor and context, I am a solo player, mainly doing open world content, epic battlegrounds and occassionally dungeons.
Hunters stats atm are:
Crit: 17%
Haste: 9%
Mastery: 16%
Vers: 22%
Just read the Icy-veins MM guide, also your stats dont matter.
Just do Icy Veins - If you dont have 4 piece of the new tier then the old build from 10.1.7 still applies, if you have new tier 4 piece you can choose between a readiness build or an improved stead shot/precise shots build both are within fractions of a percent of each other.

This is my build which works for me very well. I mainly do random battlegrounds but this works for open world and occasional dungeons as well.
I did not take hunters knowledge because I think killer accuracy is more important while finishing pvp enemies.
I think tactical reload has almost zero value. I tried playing with it, however while pvping you will never feel the difference because you got other buttons to press and they will come off CD anyways.
I think preceise shots and target practice are a MUST. Otherwise your arcane shots and multishots are wet noodles.
Running Bulletstorm instead of heavy (I guess light if you’re doing epics) is a throw. Not Running Calling the Shots or at least Unerring is a throw. SST is a bait unless it’s a FC map against a guardian in which you take Latent and not Hydra. Unfortunately there is no “jack of all trades build” for MM because the ~2 viable pvp builds are very different from each other and yet still different from the M+ build.
