just fyi, between the 70 boost and the transferable honor, you can have a hunter prepped for bgs in under 5 minutes.

99% of mm players in bgs do not have opposable thumbs

Personally, I think it has to do with the low % of MM Hunters on the higher end of Arena or even Rated ladders. I don’t think they base it off random battlegrounds but rated and arena.

Things I would change:

  • Cannot attack from Camo (like Mass Invisibility)
  • Reduce all attacks to 41 yards like every other ranged class

Why would you nerf a spec that already performs poorly. Specs shouldn’t be balanced around poor gameplay.

Just another example of how you can’t balance both arena and battlegrounds (also Blitz Brawl) simultaneously. They are completely different styles of pvp, and changes like this are going to destroy Blitz Brawl where hunters have a lot more room to roam and come out of camo to put the hurt on easier.

But yea, in arena the buff was probably needed.

Point being, time to stop balancing around arena if you want to have Blitz Brawl be taken seriously. This MM buff is laughable.

does this even fix what is wrong for mm hunters in arena? i don’t play it but it doesn’t seem like damage is the issue

Damage is an issue if you’re going against plate classes.

they need to find another way to fix this then, making them nuclear one shot cloth classes just so they can tickle plate classes is not very fun

I’ve heard people suggest Blizzard should standardize armor (physical damage reduction) in PvP so there’s not such a drastic difference between plate and cloth.

Or shift some of MM’s damage from physical to magic so they’re better against plate classes (and then they won’t need another damage buff).

standardizing armor is probably the ideal outcome, seeing damage buffs when they already hit me for 400k+ is outrageous
