Is it me or the Last boss ability that put red circles on the ground doesn’t give alot of time for player to get out of the circles ? it almost instantly happen and result in alot of death in higher key ? I think the ability is called Alpha cannon but don’t quote me on that.
I don’t remember this ability being that fast back in Battle for azeroth.
Any though on the matter or tips ?
The circles shoot from the 2 robots that fly around the arena. The closer the circles are to the robots, the faster they hit the ground
There’s a pattern to follow with the little goblin Mecha Moguls that launch the rockets, providing a safe area to move to before the circles go out.
I don’t know the pattern myself, but one of my guildies has figured it out and it allowed us to finish the boss with zero issues moving into the safe zones.
You look at the two drones in the air and stand where their lines don’t cover. One will fire across the room and the other along it, leaving the other 1/3 of the room safe.

The mechanic is essentially the same from BfA. During the boss’s other abilities like Gatling Gun, the two BOOMBA drones change their positions around the platform. They will fire their missiles based on where they are positioned. You have ample time to see where they settle and can pre-position yourself to avoid the missiles. If you divide the room into a 2x3 grid like below:
One will be positioned in a column (A, B, or C) which fires vertically and the other will be in a row (1 or 2) which fires horizontally. That means 2 of the 6 subareas of the platform will be safe (or 1/3) as Hpellipsis mentioned above.
For a concrete example, if the drones set up at A and 2, B1 and C1 would be safe:
Just note that the drones can setup on any side of the platform, but they will fire their missiles the same direction.

this is great explanation ty!
Most groups I’m in the tank watches and moves the boss to the safe spot.
you take the boss roughly to the grate opposite the 2 robots that fly around the arena so you have the greatest amount of time to dodge all the circles. The ability was exactly that fast back in BFA it has not changed.
Is a boss that’s highly dependent on tank positioning.

There’s always a safe spot on the grate to the left as you’re facing the boss. Its very small so you have to stack but its there. You can also stack at the top of the stairs and you wont get hit. The healer has to be ready though as everyone soaks the missile.
