I am happy they kept the original whammy animations , but I am highly disappointed they eliminated the trivia. In my opinion any barn animal can press the spin button.
I really wanted to see the next generation guess who Duane Allman and Lyndon Johnson were. I am telling the whammy producer , he/she is missing a genuine opportunity here.

Actually , I watched the new episode last night and there is a smattering of trivia at the beginning , but i would not say the questions are challenging , I hope i don’t get flagged for this but the " you suck!" animation on the whammy had me rolling.
They have extended the rolling sessions rather than the trivia and i would have preferred it vise/versa , but i guess you can’t have everything.
I am sure Krymah that the randomizer on the new whammy computer is more sophisticated and I rather doubt somebody will be able to memorize it easily.
No way do i think they threw new money at an old problem.
