Hello! Since the patch, I’ve swapped my PvP talents around and put on “Zen Focus Tea”, then went crazy trying to figure out why I’m now a glowing blue fireball, permanently.
It seems, if you talent into “Zen Focus Tea” the animation of it being active (should activate for 5 seconds when “Thunder Focus Tea” is used) it turns on immediately and does not turn off unless untalented. This means if I want to use the talent, I’m permanently surrounded by a massive blue fireball. Cool animation, but really distracting and frustrating when it never stops.
I can’t find anything about it online, and I’m not certain it wasn’t like this before the patch, but it definitely doesn’t seem intentional, so I thought I’d mention it just in case!

oh, so that’s what that was. lol
today i also could not use ZFT at all.
when i logged in and noticed it wasn’t going off when pressing, i saw that some other weird bank spell was in its place.
i couldn’t even drag it to the bar from the talent window, i had to open my spellbook to drag it.
and even then it still wouldn’t use when i pressed it!
never in 18 years of WoW have i ever seen a bug like this.
Zen focus tea was changed to a passive that triggers when you use thunder focus tea. So that one’s on you not paying attention.

that’s undocumented AFAIK, i don’t see that spelled out in any patch notes.
It was detected in WowHead’s datamining of the 11.0.5 class changes, and players were commenting on it in the PTR forums, but it does look like it didn’t get documented in the 11.0.5 patch notes, so if you restrict yourself to “official” sources you wouldn’t see it.
But if it were well documented, it wouldn’t be Blizzard.
