Mistweaver Updates 10.2.6

    • New Talent: Dance of Chi-Ji – Your spells and abilities have a chance to make your next Spinning Crane Kick deal an additional 300% damage.

    • New Talent: Peer into Peace – 5% of your overhealing done onto targets with Soothing Mist is spread to 3 nearby injured allies. Soothing Mist now follows the target of your Enveloping Mist or Vivify and its channel time is increased by 4 seconds.

    • Resplendent Mist now causes Gust of Mists to have a 30% chance to do 75%/150% more healing (was 50%/100%).

    • Peaceful Mending is now a 1-point talent and increases the healing allies receive from Enveloping Mist and Renewing Mist by 40% while Soothing Mist is active (was 25% per point).

How will soothing mist work with this new talent Peer Into Peace? It’s going to follow the target with EM or Vivify, I don’t understand

This also has me confused and intrigued. Like does that talent make it entirely passive and it just follows your last EM/Vivify target? Cuz that’s what it sounds like to me but that’s a huge change.

Indeed, I can’t wait to see what this is. I’m hoping less global cooldowns, like it auto targets instead of selecting the target if you’re taking this talent? Hmm

I think Peer into Peace will work like Maxzen wrote in a different thread about the same.

That’s kind of what it sounded like to me too, which is a reversion back to how SooM worked in Legion. It would automatically cast on whomever you cast effuse, vivify, or EnvM on and then when you cast one of those spells onto another player, it would then move the SooM over to that player. My only complaint back then was that casting a healing spell broken the channel on whomever it was channeling on for the duration of your cast. So if you had to spam cast, SooM was basically non-existent.

I am hoping that it plays more in the sense that if I am currently channeling SooM into tank, and the rogue gets hit by cleave and I use vivify on the rogue (while channeling SooM on the tank) it will transition my SooM over to the rogue instead of canceling it all together. It will make target swapping as a MW more fluid.

Tested Peer into Peace: you can indeed cast EnvM/Vivify on other targets while channeling SooM and it will switch, but it resets Clouded Focus stacks. (more specifically, the EnvM/Vivify counts as a cast so you go back to 1 stack on switch)

This is how it works now. As Maxzen pointed out you do lose Clouded Focus stacks but you maintain the instacast nature of EM/Vivify. Good for spreading EM into Yu’lon windows.

which talent should be removed for peer into peace or is it not worth that much in m+?
