MW monk is in a terrible condition, it is not accepted to almost any 10+ Keys, they bring a little group utility except the 5% damage buff, they deserve some improvement. It is the least played healer class “by far” in M+ keys according to raiderio database. The second least played healer class is played twice as much.

There are so many issues affecting MW rn.

Mana costs. Thankfully Blizzard is trying to change this, but they are still pretty high comparably. There needs to be some sort of change done especially to our CDs. Yu-Lon costs SO much mana and to really make it work you need to be stacked as well as have Env Mist up on at least 1 target (enveloping breath requires 1 env mist on a target for 6 env breath). The real power of it comes from spamming Env Mist on more people which is also a huge mana drain. That whole CD and the Env Mist interaction need to be worked on and either mana tea or rising serpent kick/that whole mana management row needs to be looked at.

Weakest Tank/Damage Reduction CD. Life Cocoon is basically 1 rapture shield. It is incredibly weak and offers no real damage reduction except for an absorb that will get eaten by 1 mechanic in Mythic +. We currently require tanks to be very smart in order to do well in high keys which lends itself to the greater issue of MW needing to do much more work for the same rewards healers like Rshammy and HPally obtain.

In PvP we are so, so squishy. Fortifying Brew needs a buff. Or, LC needs to be castable while stunned. More than that, our dmg in PvP is pitiful. There is no reason to be in melee besides leg-sweep. Even that is a huge risk and might get you 1 shot by literally any class.

Nobody cares about classes below 15 except meta slaves…which are the majority in pugs at around 10-13, all noobs.

But If you are at least 215 with 1.1k io, you get instant invite, whatever classes. At +10 I mean.
You really don’t get an instant invite with 1.1k io with a monk for +10 - 13. I am pretty sure you didn’t experience it yourself and just assuming your facts.

Yeah I experienced it. My monk is in the European servers. Its name is Borulce, I actually recently bought KSM boost with it.

Yeah I wouldn’t say people don’t care about classes below +15. Even doing low keys on this toon have had people make comments when I joined group like “ugh, MW?” etc. Check the monk forums and plenty of people have received the negative community reception.
One time I was pugging heroic Sludge on this toon. My main is 5/10 m disc priest. At that point was maybe 2 or 3/10 mythic. Joined the raid and had two people complain that a MW was one of the three healers. Saying “kick the MW if we wipe.” I ended up not only not dying but being top heals. MW have a really terrible community perception bc with the way heals are tuned rn, even if you aren’t a decent r shammy you can still pump pretty well and you have spirit link for a raid.
MW starts off with lowest representation (4% behind holy) and gets lower as you go higher and higher.
