I don’t know the monk… all I know is if you make your healers in pvp monks… your team in unstoppable. And I hate it.
I was just making a joke, it’s a play on words replying to the comment above mine.
TFT EF is just a nice little AOE healing mini-cooldown when you have Upwelling talented.
It’s not even really a fistweaving thing, although you absolutely can talent it in an Ancient Teachings build for either M+ or raid.

I don’t fully understand MW but think I could one day like it. The healing seems great but the damage doesn’t seem very high for how much work goes into being melee healer and weaving casts into fist weaving? Idk it didn’t feel like much less work than rdruid and rdruid is doing literally 100k DPS in keys right now

Rdruid DPS seems much higher than every other healer right now, though.

Yeah, but it’s also a ton of work. The maximum payoff should be a little better if the work is much more. Pres evoker for example:

All in one form, ranged, 74k dps, basically 4 spells.
For rdruid, maintaining 2 dots, shifting into cat form and going into melee to maintain another dot, like 9 sources of damage, but the dps here is like 90k (would show up as 100k+ on details)

The monk also has to go into melee, I think the AOE damage is fine actually considering it is mainly STOMP kickspin kickspin kickspin kickspin kickspin but RSK and blackout kick could do a little more. 73k dps

I just feel like MW damage should be about 7k better, closer to rdruid damage than pres evoker damage. Priest damage looks low but we also contribute like 30k with PI.
Bloody hell, I wasn’t aware healers could pull that much. Lol
mistweaver has been the most fun healing spec for a while. glad to see it getting some love

Healers usually can’t, but they are the best healers in the world at 470ish ilvl in a great group where the dps interrupt, stun, avoid damage, etc. It also depends on the dungeon, route, pull sizes, group buffs, etc.
In a pug where people are not playing very well even 20k is good. You have to spend a lot more globals healing.

Yea 20-30k is more what I’ve been seeing.
I’m no top end player so I’ll continue not seeing those bigger numbers.

I am glad people enjoying fistweaving, but I personally would love the option to go back to Legion where it felt good to MISTweave. Channeling while moving is sorely missed.

So is monk or Druid better at healing in BG PvP. I’m interesting in doing PvP healing
I can’t speak for all of us. But the last druid heal team I faced won. They are tricky bastards.
