Mistweaver has no real interrupt ?
I have Paralysis and Leg Sweep but those dont work against bosses…

I like to think of it as us having an interrupt with a 3-4 expansion cooldown

Meh you can keep mobs reliably busy and mess up casting/start cooldowns on some spells by using paralysis, leg sweep, ring of peace and the pandaren incap but yeah we cant do bosses.
Before priests had silence (disc/cata), monk had one and paly too, think even druid in one of the forms.
One of the selling points of shaman is being able to reliably interrupt casts but tbh MW can do great with caster adds.
Stun, paralysis, and ring of peace all stop casts.

A rather large portion of adds are not immune to RoP, paralysis or leg sweep.
I enjoy finding out early expansions/new dungeons what is and isnt cc able with the above mentioned spells and always look to mess up casting. Let the dps and tank handle interrupting bosses or the less frequent larger mobs with immunities.
Theyd prob prune half of our cc toolkit if they gave us back an interrupt and what we have now is more fun imo.
