Follow up on my KSM post: After lots of failed PUGs, I was ready to quit, but I pushed through with back-to-back ++10s in Necrotic and Ara-Kara for KSH! Casting Mistweaver is mana-intensive, spamming Enveloping Mists nonstop. Some groups are easy; others leave me chugging Mana Tea on cooldown because they never let you drink, EVER. Praise Mekkatorque for Mana Tea!
Time for an alt or something…or maybe learn the Fistweaving version.
Very likely I am playing wrong also. Enveloping Mist + Mending Proliferation is so strong I find myself hardly using CDs - which might be why it’s mana intensive. I can only think of a few fights where I absolutely have to pop CDs.

not really mana intensive if you use mana tea first, then spam heal. It means that you need to know when the big damage will come, and use mana tea for a few seconds, then when the damage come, spam the heal. Rotate your CD. We have sheilun gift, celestial conduit, revival, yulon which will help alot, don’t need to spam heal when big aoe damage come. Only spam heal when run out of CD.

Use Yu’Lon more. It reduces the cost of env mist significantly and you can use Yu’Lon every min - and will make your mana last longer. Can be used multiple times on some longer boss fights. Once you get used to damage patterns your mana tea usage before spammage will be more fluid and you wont lose as much mana during the casts too - just keep at it. Worst case scenario keep a stack of water on you and some mana pots.
Gratz on KSH!
Yeah definitely agree with you guys. Mana Tea timing and using CD more is an area I can improve on. First time healer main to push any keys and it is a tough learning curve. Not sure I’ll play as much now that I reached my goal so I’ll probably get rusty at it.
Reading Patch 11.1 there’s a Keystone Legend at rating 2850…good lord that is going to be tough.
