Look, we all know Mistweavers are absolute garbage in PvP for several reasons. One of those reasons is that we absolutely melt in stuns because we have zero counterplay beyond pressing Trinket… and God can’t even save us if our trinket is on cooldown.
But look, Blizzard already solved this issue in the past for us before they stripped it away. Back in the day we used to have this wonderful passive:
Dematerialize - When you are stunned, you phase out of existence temporarily causing all melee, ranged and spell attacks to miss you for 2 sec. This effect has a 10 sec cooldown.
Ignoring all of our other trash cooldowns, lack of defensives, lack of effective DR, lack of mana… simply reinstating this passive would help us actually remain alive in PvP/arena/RBGs. It doesn’t even require Blizzard to code anything new because it’s already in the game, just retired. This is such a simple fix. Please Blizzard, we beg you. Help us.
That would help as well as some PvE fixes like reduced mana costs for some spells.
I’d like to see roll remove snares baseline without needing a legendary too. Reduced cool down on paralysis and some sort of raid utility outside of revival as well
Yes! IMO MW should get flying serpent kick back(?). Having the pvp talent where FSP removes snares and creates that wind area where you can’t be slowed would be massive for mw utility in PvP.
There’s so many things that were removed that were cool, flavorful and fixed problems that we’re suffering from today. Mastery from orbs, Mistwalk, Way of the Crane, life cocoon while stunned, chi, mana tea, and probably way more that I’m forgetting. What did we even get this expansion? Invoke Yulon, literally the most boring and useless healer ability in the game. Not only is it a 3 minute cd, it bugs out sometimes and doesn’t even heal.
It was busted back then when most classes didn’t have a ridiculous amount of mobility and you can soothing mist while moving. Also I believe we had life cocoon in stun back then. A lot of classes got unpruned especially healers, playing a holy priest now is really eye opening how many tools they have, they have so many good PvP talents that you can’t even spec into Holy Ward.

With MoP’s kit, we’d be on par w/ live HPal & Disc, before even factoring in Orbs.
Yeah, there were several expansions where we had Cocoon in stun. Whether it was a glyph or PVP talent augment. Not sure if it’s ever been baseline, but you had the option on hand.
It wouldn’t do much in PvE though, but it’s definitely nice to have it in PvP. I’m glad they didn’t bring back the immunity instead because then it would’ve been extremely toxic.
Mystical made a good vid on both the good and bad on the latest PvP talents changes. They changed refreshing breeze and counteract magic so output will be a bit lower compared to before.
