I’ve been out of the loop on retail and especially with my Monk - I used to enjoy healing here and there on this toon, seems it has changed quite a bit.
I assume it’s now more aligned with discipline (Dmg = Heals) type of playstyle or is there a build to keep the older healing type/rotation around?
It’s still a normal healing spec, the damage to heal profile isn’t so high that it dominates the playstyle even when you are focused into it.
I’m also not entirely sure what ‘older healing type’ you are talking about since the spec has had pretty major revisions every two or so expansions. We can do only healing spells okay but we have a lot of talents that promote adding in damage abilities.
