it will get changed. theres a reason why warlocks cannot use there gateway with flag. its just a matter of time before it gets nerfed.

Nope, MW is way more disruptive and obnoxious. Healers are already bad, but MW is taking it to a whole other level of terrible.
Mages only need some toning down on roots (remove frostbite and concentrated coolness).
And then the masses will complain about the next thing, until all FCs are walking at half speed the moment they pick up a flag and there will still be people complaining about not being able to connect.
Even if the FC walks through them, because they canât switch off trying to kill their current target.
Frost mages arenât the only one with slows, itâs an example.
What do you think âpeel outâ means? It means get out of that fight and move to the new location. And this is the crux of the issue that you and many other MW refuse to acknowledge. That time gap to peel out and meet the MW is extremely small compared to other classes.

In the intial fc you can easily utilize revial to ignore majority of class abilities to bypass them with your mobility.
Because RBGS are two coordinated groups fighting against one another, they tend to pick the strongest/op fcâs for their comp. If MW has the highest representation ( more MW than the next three healers combined above 1800) in coordinated content, then it means that it is extremely powerful in rbgs. Now place them in BGB where coordination is weaker and your solution of " just team work" is laughable.
Because this is a first time where a healer is the best FC in bgs. At this point MW is free points in bgb as your only counter is the enemy team being more coordinated than your own.

Whatâs OP to me is if there are two of the meta FCs on one team. For instance, double mist, double pres or a mixture of the two.
If thereâs just one, all you have to do is identify them early and stop them before they get to the other side.

Hmmm, a mage canât ice block. A nelf canât shadowmeld. Rogue cannot vanish. A rogue or druid cannot stealth. A paladin cannot bubble. I think that includes BoP.
No one can use a mount.
Can a DH Netherwalk with flag? I have never tried that. I donât think a DH can Netherwalk with flag.
Edit: Hirav I hear ya. And honestly, I donât care either way. I just play the game how it is. I do remember the paladin changes and paladins complaining back in the day re: the change. I wouldnât be surprised if we see some movement/portal nerfs for flag carry games. But we shall see. People experiencing the other end of monk ports and movement also have a right to complain, just like people did back in the day when a paladin could become immune for 8 second every 5 minutes or whatever it was.
Paladin bubble, Mage ice block, hunter feign death, rogue vanish and a few other abilities that either created immunities or loss of target would drop the flag. Cyclone when it first appeared could be used to make the efc drop the flag but blizzard quickly fixed that.
Some abilities still drop the flag and teleport abilities were also dropping the flag for a long time and I think blizzard should make them do it again there isnât a real counter for it without going to some long theory craft session of nerd glasses âif you do this on a full moon with these specific classes then you can counter it.â
