Yep, just had it hit me for 18k.
My guess for this is because some of the dungeon formations are still tuned for mythic+, like trash layouts and some damage tuning. I encountered this problem myself as my first timewalking dungeon through this as a healer. Not fun. My hope is that this issue will be fixed in an upcoming hotfix over the next day or two.

Unfortunately this bug has been live since DF released. I’d be shocked if they finally fixed it now.
Posting to confirm last boss of tjs is ticking for ~15-20k a tick, one shotting any class including tank. Seems to be doing m0 damage equivalent from level 70.
Temple of Jade Serpent, last boss 1 shotting DPS and 2 shotting tank.

I didn’t expect Blizzard to attempt to maintain two versions of the same dungeon, and wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why these bugs are occurring. I wouldn’t be surprised if the “easier” fix is to just make the TW version the same as the current M+.
I was able to progress through to Sha of Doubt and kill it (burst dps and good luck with getting a Mass Dispel off, was on my priest). No credit toward completion of TW 5 dungeon quest because of the Mari bug.
I got credit for the 5 timewalking quest after just barely beating Sha. Wise mari did despawn on that run so whether credit is given or not seems inconsistent.
Weird that you didn’t get credit for the dungeon. I was able to but yeah that one shot hurt the first time. We wiped but I don’t think anyone had CDs up so the 2nd time we were able to burst it down right as touch was going out. It went on myself and the healer, the healer died but I just ice blocked it and we killed it right after. We did get TW credit as well but killing mari didn’t register but it’s been bugged like that for a while now.
Just had an NPC on a Grimrail Depot fight one shot me at full health. It hit me for over 50 k and my health as a tank is only 11k lmao. I knew the second I saw it it was a damage glitch, because the dps in my group, even the rogue with the trash attitude, soaked the same move while I watched from my corpse’s POV.
That is not a bug, its meant to punish you for not doing that mechanic. Just CC that mob and dps them down.
No, it’s a bug. It’s a DoT effect that increases the longer you’re in it and the FIRST TICK hit for 5x my health plus several thousand damage absorbed while I was topped off. There was no surviving it, and with that aforementioned rogue doing 1/3 of my dps and less than half the next dps ahead of him, it wasn’t happening, especially when he started trying to coach me from the bottom of the dps chart.
Time walking damage and Stat changes have had issues for years, especially during DF from what I’ve seen on forums. Idk how a nearly 400 ilvl tank has barely 11k hp in a heroic squish, either.
