Finally. After weeks of leveling, I’m finally ready to play this expansion! Yeah, I know, people were kinda iffy about pandaren at first and they ARE kinda silly, but honestly? I REALLY dig their lore. And I’m actually really enjoying the monk class - it’s a ton of fun!
And as overplayed as it is, I kinda like the faction war story and how it’s being deconstructed! I get that some people were skeptical about this when it was announced at Blizzcon, but I think MoP could be a really good-
Wait what?
…MoP came out seven years ago?
Really? This is an entirely different expansion?
Very funny, guys. Come on, we’re going to an exotic new land, the Alliance and Horde are fighting, the Warchief is kinda the main bad guy and there’s a brewing revolution against them, this is totally MoP.
And the Zanalari! Look, they even got new models! And there’s a whole raid about them - this is totally MoP!
…Current President? Why, Barack Obama, of course!
Last year’s best seller? Halo 4, naturally!
…How long was I in that coma? I dunno - couple months, maybe?

Thanks to WoD and BfA, Pandaria seems great!
MoP was their finest storytelling, dude.

No it wasn’t. It gave us Garrosh being a bad guy instead of the honorable one from Stonetalon Mountains
As Afrasiabi was in charge of the Revamped Azeroth’s Questing while Kosak was in charge of Cataclysm Expansion Questing(Vashj’ir, Hyjal, Deepholm, Uldum and Twilight Highlands) things would have been a lot different if Kosak wasn’t there.
For one Garrosh would have been a good guy and Sylvanas(who Afrasiabi was villainizing) would have been the villain of MoP! BfA is all because Kosak controlled the direction Garrosh did.
Because of that Afrasiabi now has had to find a way to get rid of Sylvanas and that is an uphill battle now thanks to Kosak!
If nothing else, MoP was a beautiful xpac- I absolutely loved the visuals and the themes.

MoP had some terrible moments and some excellent moments.
I certainly had misgivings with how the Faction War was handled, but I was willing to have a “Horde regresses and must find the light once more” storyline, well, once,
Who here ready for Warchief Gallywix and the Money Horde?

Boss Mida for Warchief. She’s got the business chops, Gallywix is just a goon with gold.
heck, even Afrasiabi’s ‘villainizing’ of Sylvanas in Cata was pretty low key, at least Horde side; Probably would have been a more interesting kind of fall then Garrosh’s.
