Mists of Pandaria Legacy Server?

How likely do you guys think it will happen. I really hope Blizzard does a MoP classic server. I would live there and relive the glory days of PvP, and raiding Siege of Orgrimmar.

It wont happen, to manage a completely different server with different content takes too much time and money. Classic is an exception because blizzard said they could learn a thing or two.

ANY server other than World of Warcraft Classic : Battle for Azeroth is doomed to fail hard.

We want WoW Classic: Battle for Azeroth to relive the glorious grinds!

I don’t see that being true. Besides, I think a small amount of people would play MoP anyway and keeping the server up would be pretty easy. I mean, if private servers can do it. I’m sure a small team at Blizzard can too.

Yes.

So much YES!

I would pay an extra separate sub for a Pandaria server.

Statement: I lived those days for a year and a half. I am good.

Give a mouse a cookie, and soon enough he’ll ask you to immortalize the 5th cookie he had because it was his favorite and he wants to eat that specific one forever

Well, yeah. I think MoP was the best expansion.

A specific server for MoP is unlikely. Either they will stick to just the two versions of the game classic and retail. Or they could do progression servers. I hope they do progression servers though it’s not very likely. For those that don’t know a progression server is a server that spins up a vanilla type game launch and then at an accelerated rate goes through all the expansions/content so those that want to can relive it. EQ1 used to do this I don’t know if they still do. It’s a nice way to give people access to all the old content that has come and went through out the years.

Exactly what I mean. A good example of a small development team whom is keeping A Lich king server up right now closed the Pandaria server because no one is playing it; and it was taking too much money for them to even keep up the 500 players that were in.
The reason why private servers “seem” much easier to handle because they are not as limited to feedback, and they’re usually a team of people whom played wow casually or competitively in the past.

Blizzard opened Classic because Retail wasn’t enough for players to return. Also, it would’ve gave Older players the “nostalgia” and ability to return because of this. They brought back Classic for the exception of players returning to Warcraft for more money subscriptions.

Its the same scenario that has been going on for any MMORPG. Once the day Classic moves on to BC, and they increase the level cap; its done.

Id pay for an MoP expansion

This sounds extremely promising.

The thing about MoP servers is that nobody will play them until they reach either Landfall or The Thunder King patches. MoP at launch got very bad reception, but by 5.2 many of its problems were fixed enough for people to notice the good parts of the expansion such as the class design.

While I wish I could experience the magic and wonder of MoP again, I just don’t see it happening.

Yeah, I’ll be honest. I quit during until 5.2. Came back, and finally realized how great MoP was. It was a sleeper expansion, but I am so glad I resubbed at that time, and I’m sure many people who have said “I quit because pandas” will want to actually try the expansion and see it for the glory it truly was.

TBC server,.

Gimme, gimme!

Why take it out anyways? It’s not like ele shaman have been tearing it up.

I loved MoP. I’d 100% play a Classic MoP server. One of the best expansions in the game’s history.
