Mists of Pandaria Classic

  • Items purchased from the Avatar of the August Celestials can now be refunded.
  • The guild achievements Mogu’shan Vaults: The Heroic: Will of the Emperor and Heart of Fear: The Heroic: Grand Empress Shek’zeer are now earnable in 10-player difficulty.
  • August Stone Fragments can now be held up to a maximum quantity of 70 (was 55).
  • Druid
    • Druids’ prior shapeshift forms are now correctly canceled by Amber-shaper Un’sok’s Reshape Life.
  • Monk
    • Chi Torpedo should no longer have circumstances where it can deal its damage or healing more than once to targets.
  • Paladin
    • Holy
      • Sacred Shield will no longer absorb for an inflated amount after Crusader Strike has been cast.
  • Player versus Player
    • In 2v2 Arenas, every Shadow Sight after the first one has an increased duration of 5 seconds.
      • Developers’ notes: The Shadow Sight debuffs in Arenas were originally intended to allow for play against those who would delay or stall games using Stealth classes. With the current state of Subterfuge and other abilities in Mists of Pandaria, it has become clear that Shadow Sight behavior is not fulfilling its intended purpose. This change results in Shadow Sight lasting 15 seconds the first time it is picked up, and then 20 seconds, the second time, and then 25 seconds the third time, and so on.

Please give us a world boss raid lockout indicator. Those of us with multiple alts have some difficulty keeping track of who has gotten the kill and who has not per week.

Here is a macro that will either say “you have done (bossname) this week” or “you have not done (bossname) this week”. It only covers Sha and Gal so far but I love it, one press per alt and I know if I’ve done it.

Mists of Pandaria Classic

  • Mogu’shan Vaults
    • Force of Nature from Balance, Guardian, and Feral Druids will now correctly be able to attack Elegon on Heroic difficulty.
    • Dancing Rune Weapon should now always correctly copy the Death Knight’s abilities used against Elegon on Heroic difficulty.
  • Druid
    • Balance
      • Arcane and Nature damage increase in Moonkin Form increased to 35% (was 25%).
  • Rogue
    • Combat
      • Shallow Insight’s damage increase raised to 20% (was 10%).
      • Moderate Insight’s damage increase raised to 30% (was 20%).
      • Deep Insight’s damage increase raised to 40% (was 30%).
  • Warlock
    • Destruction Warlocks should no longer incorrectly lose their Embers on encounter start if they cast a non-Fire and Brimstone Immolate to pull the boss.

Now shadow priest and demo warlock need to be buffed and finally the game will be viable for caster dps

Does this apply to PvP?

Can we get confirmation whether or not these damage buffs apply to PVP as well.

Can we please buff holy priest single target healing so the 10 man players aren’t on par with disc in throughput, but have literally 0 utility

A 25man player won’t use single target heals so can we increase serendipity usage or make flash of heal cheaper?

Every single class change they’ve made has been for PvE only.

  • Death Knight
    • Death Knights who change specialization to Frost while a Death Rune is active over one of their Blood Runes should no longer lose their permanent Death Rune.

There is a bug with the lvl 90 shaman talent Unleashed Fury.

For enhancement the buff the talent provides while using windfury isnt triggering properly during ascendance. Log data and extensive testing show the talent works as intended outside ascendance, but has a drastically reduced proc chance during ascendance.

Based on testing, it looks like unleashed fury (windury) may be triggering from procs of windfury attack rather than autoattacks during ascendance (called wind lash). This would explain the drastically reduced proc chance during ascendance.

  • Players should no longer be prompted for an additional bonus roll when zoning into Terrace of Endless Spring.
  • Touch of Sha should no longer target players affected by Spirit of Redemption.
  • The following cooldowns will now reset during the Sha of Fear heroic transition: Vigilance, Holy Avenger, Light’s Hammer, Execution Sentence, Spectral Guise, Death’s Advance, Gorefiend’s Grasp, Remorseless Winter, Astral Shift, Windwall Totem, Totemic Projection, Dark Regeneration, Demonic Breath, Sacrificial Pact, Dark Bargain, Blood Horror, Unbound Will, Grimoire of Service Imp / Voidwalker / Succubus / Felhunter / Felguard / Incubus, Mannoroth’s Fury, Invoke Xuen, Diffuse Magic, Dampen Harm, Summon Black Ox Statue, Displacer Beast, Mass Entanglement, Disorienting Roar, Ursol’s Vortex, Heart of the Wild, and Purgatory.

Was using rallying cry on Tsulong stealth fixed today or did it just accidentally not make it into patch notes?

Does this make unleash not worth taking across the board? I wasn’t aware of this.

As it stands, unleash fury already does less damage on most fights than the other 2 talents, but for the average player it should still be ok to use on many fights.

I dont have numbers on the exact impact, but i would guess that the talent only contributes about 85% as much damage as it should over the course of an average fight.

The issue is that the bug occurs during ascendance, which is used during important burn phases when bloodlust, trinkets, and other cooldowns are all used together. This means that not only are more procs being lost, but these procs would have done the most damage.

If you’re fighting a boss with an important burn phase, unleashed fury is completely unuseable. If the damage is spread out more evenly in the fight, the talent can still do ok despite the dps lost from the bug.

Buff Frost Mage, nerf Arcane. Revert the Hunter nerfs as they were too aggressive. And I’m not sure how Aggrend has allowed Ret to fall off so heavily either. It sucks that the fun specs are super nerfed, really kills my excitement for this expansion.

The hunter nerf was barely anything, but so many other specs have received large buffs that hunters are relatively much weaker than they would have been if no balancing had happened.
