If you create a new character in Mists do you start as level 1 in pandaria or do you have to level to pandaria?
Wrong forum, but you have to level through cata azeroth, tbc, wrath, cata then go to pandaland
mists is considered classic
Progression classic forums typically follow the current expansion (which would be the cataclysm forum, currently)
Classic general is more for Era discussion, and since anniversary has no where else to go, the anniversary realms (which may actually get a touch awkward when anniversary realms hit tbc)
You’d be better off asking MoP related questions in the Cata forum.
That said, Volhance already answered your question…You start at level 1 in the normal starting zones (non pandarian races), on the panda island (Pandarian only), or in EPL @ lvl 55 (DK only)… You then are still leveling the full way from there until you reach MoP content (after vanilla, tbc, wrath, and cata content)… The leveling pace will be different from cata’s current…Typcially they speed up everything before current content, so like vanilla—>cata stuff will go faster in MoP than it does in cata. The actual mop content right now on beta was just slowed down substantially from the end of MoP pacing to the begining of MoP pacing, so expect the MoP leveling to drag a bit.

thank you for your concern in wanting me to get my questions answered. Two ppl in the Wow classic general forum answered fully. I think the area I posted in was the perfect place to post.
Has its own forum, thus is for vanilla., scroll up look at the listed patch notes; everything is 1.xxxx vanilla series.
Most level 1 through the whole show.
DK will be exit out its start almost 60 so they are tbcc, wrath c, cata c.
TBCC, wrath c, cata c can start 2 levels early. so 58, 68, 78 respectively. I am not at the point to test if 83 or 84 can see panda land in beta.

yes there is a place in development> MOP classic Beta. but there is nothing that i have seen that says you cannot post any type of Classic game in Wow Classic GENERAL. General means generally, so Cata, Era, MOP, SOD, HC can be posted in a Classic general categories unless the forum mods want to change that.
The dev’s only post about “vanilla” content on this forum tho, and they post about MoP content in the MoP one, and Cata stuff in the Cata one, and SoD stuff in the SoD one. I know its kinda unclear, but if you just look at the place where the developers post about certain things you can detect the use case.

What do you gain from tripling down on your misunderstanding? You can scream in the void all you want, you are still wrong and posted in the wrong forums.
If there are two options for something:
a) kinda accurate in name only
b) the correct answer
