Can someone tell me if I’m reading this right?
I just got the mission table. Went through the tutorial.
There are two missions which reward 6 anima each. The minimum anima cost (before even adding troops) is like 10 anima. So I’m spending over 20 anima (w/ troops) to get 10 anima?
Really?

exactly… it doesnt make sense at all. charged more anima than rewarded. Anima sink pretty much. Cause wth else you gonna do with your anima while waiting for your weekly 5 souls.

Idk about you but for the next upgrade I need 5k anime. I barely get the 1k weekly finished within a week.
It is laughably bad, but maybe they will fix it. I spent 4 anima on a mission to earn…wait for it, 5 anima! Wow!
They reward 5 anima each, but you get 6 of them. So you’re getting a net profit of 10 anima. Which isn’t very much.
But as has been noted in another thread, you’re not supposed to farm anima quickly.

The higher level your troops, and more elite campaign missions you complete the better the rewards are. Think of it as a long term investment
Also noting, you don’t need to fill your entire roster to win the anime missions.

Anima is just borrowed power. That should not be a long term investment when it’s literally useless next expac.

I don’t feel like the tutorial actually taught me anything. I stll have no clue what I’m doing.
Also the rewards don’t seem worth it.

What do you mean long term investment? Unless there’s a content update you’re aware of that we’re not, there’s absolutely no real reason to farm anima right now.
It seems to me like it’ll eventually be the gear catchup mechanic, as it seems you can progress through the campaign and just buy ilvl 171 gear from the vendor (or upgrade the pieces given to you through quests).
its f’ing retarded, i vastly out level a quest and i cant complete it cuz no reason at all… literally bullshieeeeeeet. dumbest trash ever. These devs should be sent to the food lines

No. You get 30 anima for a reward. Let’s say the reward is one “bottle” which contains 5 anima. However, you’re getting six of those bottles, for a total reward of 30 anima. Subtract 10 anima as the cost of the mission, and you’re netting 20 anima per mission.

They want it to last the entire expansion, sure, but there has to be a way to do that without making the numbers look head scratchingly far off or impossible to obtain.
Long term Investments don’t need to last multiple expansions, beefing your companions and troops up now so a month later they get thicc rewards is indeed a very good long term investment.

I thought it was only me. Im like hmm so spend 13 anima to get 6 anima.

It gives multiple items of 6 anima each you should get a profit of a handful of anima

As many people have said, you’re getting multiple items that give 5 anima each.
The tool-tip really should tell you the total anima for the stack instead of expecting you to do math. That applies to anima items in your bag as well.

Yup, people blind these days
…is this a joke? If you can’t do 6x5 in a split second in your head I don’t understand how you managed to log into the game.

I wonder if I’m even looking at the anima reward correctly. it says rewards 5 anima, but there’s 6 in a stack. Is that 5 anima per stack, or is it doling out fractional units? if it’s 5 per stack I’d say it’s not horrible, but it’s not great either.
Never mind this was answered in a previous post I over read.
