I recently returned to the game from a multi-year hiatus. Leveled up my shadow priest first, demon Hunter next, druid 3rd, Hunter 4th, and then started working on my shaman. I realized a shield I was using as a transmog for my shaman was completely gone. Can’t find it in wowhead, can’t find anything about it anywhere. Looks like it was completely deleted from the game. Opened up a ticket, they sent me links to shields that drop in ZA and ZG, but that doesn’t help me much. Need to go through all of my old screenshots to see if I can find them, but I’m pretty sure they’re stored somewhere on some random hard drive in a drawer somewhere.
Does anyone happen to have any recollection of the shield? It was an epic shield that I believe dropped in Zul’Aman. Thought it might have Amani or Zulian in the name, but it’s been so long I can’t remember. I had it saved in a transmog set, but that’s obviously gone as well. Would love some help coming up with the name and ideally a screenshot.

The bulwark of the amani empire has a replacement: the skyking bulwark that drops from zandalari trolls and related enemies on the isle of thunder and throne of thunder.
I’ve encountered this on a broader level, where there are some items I’ll find that are “new appearance” yet I 100% remember having the items in the past. I sorta just assumed it was because of how they did the whole transmog system at some point when I wasn’t playing (WoD/Legion/BFA), so you just have to get some of the same items again. In your case, unfortunately, it appears the item in question isn’t even available anymore
