Missing Unshackled reputation since patch 11.0

I opened a ticket and was sent here to post about it for the second time. I was missing Unshackled rep since the release of patch 11.0. I did one WQ there and gained 75 rep and now my rep is setting at Neutral. Any help or tips? Thanks

Just chiming in to say I’m also experiencing this.

I think the resetting has stopped, but the missing reputation was never restored. This character was farming paragon boxes for the mount but got put back in at neutral in 11.0.

That is exactly what I was doing. Now I can’t even farm that mount unless I raise the rep all the way back to exalted which is something I won’t do. It would take me about a year to do that.

I have The Unshackled exalted achievement. Reset to neutral…

Same issue here but with the dark talons rep from forbidden reach

Disheartening that a month+ later your reputation isn’t fixed.
You’re in the same boat as me - you have the Exalted Achievement PROVING you are Exalted.

I have the achievement AND paragon mount (no other character is even close on either Naz rep) so I expect this to be fixed in a timely manner. There’s nothing to investigate - that’s the proof needed.

CS mentioned I should point out that they see my rep as exalted (internally), but on my end, I am Neutral (can see this in my profile and in-game it’s the same). They also mentioned I should note that I am unable to purchase from the Unshackled quartermaster any rep related items, so while in some sense, this may be ‘visual’, it is indeed affecting our play. We cannot engage in content we earned.

And I will state again (from other threads), GM’s HAVE restored reputation before. Do not let anyone convince you otherwise. Twice I’ve been fixed. I’m hoping for the same resolution here and will follow up with the GM response once I get it. Let’s hope it’s not a copy paste, please report it in the bug forum, response. That seems to have gotten you, and everyone else, nowhere. Months later.

I gave up on it and on getting the after rep mount (Royal Snapdragon). They just don’t have a solution for it so it’s up to us now to either take it or leave it. It is what it is. it’s one of those things you have to put up with.

I’m going to post this here, and did as well in the CS forum, given the lack of empathy in the in-game response. The lack of… anything, really. Not even a personal, human, response. I don’t care if there is an influx of tickets (11.0+ has been pretty rough, we all know) and I don’t care about waiting for a GM resolution. But to respond like this?

No.

This is not right.
Exalted achievement, paragon mount, and I need to preach my case to fix what I did not break, only to get a response as dry and tone-deaf as this?

Just… help… already. One by one, all of us affected. Just. Help.

I replied to the ticket, when I shouldn’t have to - will follow up with that response as well.

I hope Blizz proves my pessimistic self wrong.

Still an issue.

Devs - let GM’s restore rep when there’s PROOF. I understand when there’s no achievements/etc showing you had earned rep, it’s harder (happened to me once).

GM’s are claiming they cannot restore rep and that we must wait on Blizz to fix (nearly 2months and no fix…), but if they supposedly can’t, then the previous 2 times my rep has been restored by GM’s says otherwise.

Explain the downside to this? Even if it’s one by one, case by case, get some resolutions going. Reputation is weeks/months of our time. Versus minutes of a GM’s.

But at the very least - how about some acknowledgement you know of the issue and how you plan to resolve it?

We’ve lost enough lately.

I think the problem has been going on since before 11.0. Many people have reported missing Bloodsail rep - but who is going to go to extreme lengths of ruining Goblin reps in order to maybe not even get the Bloodsail to show back up. I found this out after trying to figure out why my Baradin’s Wardens tabard wouldn’t re-equip after I chose to strip to my skibbies and not one shot an old boss. I put in a ticket and got a blanket response that said something about resetting my ‘console’ and mentioned COD. I responded to the ticket asking if GMs even knew how to read as I had clearly marked World of Warcraft which is not available on ‘console’. I then received a reply much like yours, stating that it was most likely a UI thing and the steps to reset it. If it wasn’t for the fact that I am unable to re-equip my tabard, and am unable to interact with any of the NPCs in Tol Barad or the Peninsula I might have tried to reset the UI. However, since equipping items/talking to NPCs seems to actually be a ‘you need the rep’ thing I am not willing to delete my WTF folder and then spend hours trying to reset my toon/UI to just the way I like it.

While I agree that GMs need to be given more standalone powers/authority to restore players who are the victims of bugs - what’s to stop the bug from simply happening again and resetting you right back to Neutral? Then you’ll have to put in another ticket, go thru the process all over again, etc

The underlying bugs/glitches need to be fixed first, but they seem to be dragging their feet and not even acknowledging these various bugs/glitches with any “official” Blue-posts…

Agreed - but if they were given the authority (at some point, they were), then instead of waiting for a fix, we could be fixed up so we can resume purchasing/using items from the Quartermaster. If it breaks again, repeat. I’d rather wait on a ticket to resume playing, than wait on a fix that we all know, isn’t coming.

I gave the GM’s a thorough vetting on this - none could help in the end. Pound sand, sadly.

Also not fun to realize the only Unshackled rep token you can purchase, requires Revered to get - I’m sitting on over 1400 manapearls. At least Revered to Exalted will go quick, the second time.

First our Guild Banks being wiped, then Rep being wiped (again), with radio silence from Blizz.

They need to do better.

I’m posting this here as proof - in case there are future ‘issues’ with cross-faction reps when big patches happen.

My Unshackled Rep was reset to neutral as you can read above. It took a lazy month, much of which was with the 20th Anniversary Rep (and Darkmoon) bonuses to re-grind dailies to hit Revered whereby I could buy the 250Rep tokens for 20 Prismatic Manapearls each (I had 1800 pearls and spent 1200 of them to go from Revered to Exalted with bonuses).

I’m now Exalted, for the second time.
I wanted to write this so if it happens again, I can point back to this.
Anyone reading this can see my rep and confirm (prior to another wipe, anyway).
I cannot accept another 4-5 rounds of CS/GM tickets only to be shut down, when the proof was there the first time, and now, again, a second time.

Wipe my rep again, I’m pointing you here.
Better yet, fix your issues (presuming it’s related to any rep where ally/horde share a faction like unshackled/ankoa and is affected if you change faction).

And to stamp it here - I had to regrind Dark Talons too. Which also was reset randomly after a patch.

Rep is not something you should ever expect us to re-grind. MORESO after you wiped our Alt-Guild banks, with zero compensation and zero compassion.

Do better. And Bookmark this post. I’m not optimistic this doesn’t happen again.
