While playing through a few alts to take advantage of the 50% XP buff I noticed that some of them do not have the Trade/Loot chat window and I cannot seem to get it to ‘spawn’.
I have reset the UI, disabled addons, done a full UI reset (reset cache, interface, WTF) and the window does not appear. Is this something as simple as making a new chat channel manually and checking the relevant boxes or am I missing a ‘magic’ UI setting somewhere?
Do you have this setting enabled in Options?
I have found that when I enable that setting, that it disables my ability to edit the loot window location.
But if you have the ability to move the Loot Window around within the HUD Edit Mode, then it could be that the Loot Window has went off screen or behind another element.
As you can see in this video it is very hard to even see the edge of the Loot Window as I have pushed it into the far left bottom corner of my screen.
I am having the same issue. For clarity, this is NOT regarding the loot window. This is regarding the Loot/Trade chat channel.
I have this same issue. Do you use Leatrix plus? Thats the only addon I can think of that could cause issues.
Without addons, you could try
/run FCF_ResetChatWindows()
Which should reset ALL chat windows back to default and start again from there moving/putting addons back.
