Missing textures on players and NPCs

It’s not just your own character textures either

For me it shows broken (pitch black) textures on npc’s and other players ;.;

Seems to have hit me too, running a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T, also have an NVIDIA graphics card GeForce GTX770. Hope to here a fix soon.

I’m glad I discovered this post. I have been having these exact issues as well, and its pretty unfortunate since I wanted to mess around with customizations. My characters, when you take their clothes off, are completely jet black except for the face. And its all the time, even in the initial character select. This has only been happening since PTR and 9.0.1. I tried the “Scan and Repair” option but to no success. I have an AMD Phenom X6 1100T. Game seems to run fine otherwise. Hope this gets fixed soon, been stoked to jump into pre-patch.

I literally just posted another thread asking about this! Yeah I have had the same problem through PTR and now on live too, since prepatch has hit. I am on an old AMD graphics card, as well as having a NVIDIA card that I upgraded to. So I have no clue if I need to upgrade or not, which I can’t do anyways. Yeah looking forward to keeping up with this thread and seeing what happens.
