Hey, since 9.2.5 i noticed that I no longer have a Self Cast Key option in my combat interface. I now have Click Casting. Is anyone else missing this option?
Is it not right above the Click Casting button?
There was a wowhead post about some changes, I’m pretty sure it’s still there but maybe it’s moved?
Try having a look in this article and see if it has answers.

Maybe you have an addon causing a conflict.
You can surround links with ` (the button to the left of the 1 key) to post them on these forums if you don’t have permission.

Yeah, it definitely looks like elvui (or whatever you’re using) has overridden that stuff. Or maybe if you’ve already got a different click-casting addon.
I just confirmed it’s ElvUI doing it. Thanks for the help!

Ok, so, I did some digging and if you use ElvUI, this is by design because those settings are in the ElvUI options. In case you did not know, like me.

elvui users need to do it under action buttons.
On a side note this should get hot fixed as there is too much impact to PVP
i see no “action buttons” in elvui, combed through everything i can find and cant find an option for self cast anywhere in elvui
Hello, just had trouble with this but i found it. In the Elvui options, go to the ActionBars tab, and you can see “Self Cast Key” being defaulted to ALT, the auto self cast check is next to that. Cheers!
