Basically somehow I sold the Songstone of Ironforge which is my bis ring for a very long time. I am unable to restore this item because of the time limit which is not posted anywhere. I know for a fact that on retail there is a very long time for items to be restored. I have spoken to GM’s and they are unable to help me. This is an exceptional item considering the state are no where near any ring that I could get evenly remotely close to it. This hurts my performance as a character and in my raid performance. I am willing to redo the quest line in order to retrieve because the only ring that is comparable is the spell power ring form MC. That is almost an impossible item to obtain considering that I have never seen it drop over 11 MC runs and if it does I will be rolling against 20 other people to get it. It seems unfathomable to me that Blizzard cannot not assist in me retrieving this ring again wit nothing comparable to replace and get in any other way. I cannot explain the circumstances as to how I do not have it but it is paramount to my game play. I am pleading for a way to resolve this. Because the time it will take me to replace this ring will probably be about a year. I did in no way sell or delete this item on purpose and find the explanation that that is just the way it is pretty unacceptable. Retail item restoration has a much longer time frame of retrieving items where it seems that classic has a week. Again this would not be a problem if I could find something comparable, so I m please asking that my quest line be reset so that I may obtain this vitally needed ring for the performance of my character. Thank you very much. My character name is Zotohzhaan.
Sucks that happened. Curious to know what the time frame is for restoration. How long did you go without the item? For such a vitally important item it’s a little hard to understand how you wouldn’t notice either right after deleting it, or at least shortly thereafter.
Kind of makes me think you deserve the loss, then.
GM has got to restore that lol… Can you keep this thread updated if they do? I’m kinda curious cuz I’ve wondered what would happen if that happened to me also lol
Why is that?
My guess is account sharing. OP obviously knows the value of that item, and given how desperate they are to have it back while not saying how it went missing leads me to think someone else was on the account possibly clearing bank space and getting rid of alternate gear sets.
If the OP had accidentally deleted it, they’d have just said “I’m a dumby and deleted it on accident.”
people need to stop obsessing over bis stuff so damn much. Is having a slightly worse ring really going to ruin the game for you? The content is super easy anyways.
ding ding ding
we have a winner
As Snitches says; sounds like account sharing to me.
If what they were doing was perfectly legitimate, then why can’t they explain the circumstances?
Yeah, no.
Have you posted this before?
I feel as though I’ve read this before.
