apologies if i’m missing something obvious; just rolled a vulpera and started at level 20. I can’t seem to get the quest to tame any new pets from the trainer. I don’t particularly care for a snake as a hunter pet. how can I get the quest to tame others?

No quest.
Rolling a new character(allied race) and you will have the Tame Beast ability by default.
Think you can find the Pet Utility spell on the first page in the Beast Mastery tab of your spellbook.
Left click that ability and you’ll find Tame Beast in there.

I just had to come to this thread to figure it out lol. Last time I leveled a hunter was lich king days and I dont remember a pet utility lol
