Missing NPCs in WPL

I just finished a quest from Thassarian in WPL called “Aradne,” started “Alas, Andorhal” and the NPCs in Chillwind Camp and Menders’ Stead are all missing. The monsters needed during the “Aradne” quest are still present. So are the NPCs in Andorhal. Everything else seems to be gone. I have tried abandoning and restarting the quest, but the NPCs will not reappear. I have tried quitting out of the game and restarting it. No change.

Can anyone replicate the situation and confirm?

Thanks!

Followup: Monsters and harvest nodes are missing too. Eastern Plaguelands appears to be affected by this phase change.

Ironforge is all but a ghost town. There are some vendors along the center forge bridge, but the throne room is empty. So are the bank and AH. Flight master is missing. I tried to zone to the tram, but when I crossed the white flurry threshold nothing happened. I just bumped into the zone wall. OMW to Stormwind next.

I made a stop into Gnomregon(sp?). I couldn’t zone into the dungeon there. In SW, the mages’ tower has no portals. This is further cementing the idea I’m out of phase and that most of the things I’m seeing missing were modded sometime between the current expansion and Cata.

I was able to use the mages’ portal to Darn. and portal back to reset the phase. I’m flying back to WPL now to turn in “Alas, Andorhal” and maybe pick up “Into The Woods”… We’ll see if this fix worked…

In the meantime, this still seems like an awful lot of work for a workaround. Could someone please look into what happened here?

The workaround seems to have worked out. I would still like a reply from Bliz letting me know that this is, at the
very least being looked into.

Had the same bug today. Hearthing and flying back “fixed” it. Incredibly frustrating, to say the least lol

Can confirm this is still an issue jan 2025

Just had this issue on my Mage 3/9/2025. Issue seemed to fix itself after completely logging out for 6 hours. (not logged in on any other characters at all during this time period). All NPCs came back and “Alas, Andorhal” was able to be turned in. This was after I tried everything in the book (reloading, turning off/on addons, relogging in a short timeframe, etc.)
