Missing Mog Appearances - Resolved

I’m missing -tons- of appearances for transmog for my Warlock and Mage, haven’t got through my other characters/classes yet, but I don’t have access to roughly half of every item that can be mogged. I’ve logged out, reloaded, tried with no addons.

If I go to my appearance tab, I can see all of the mogs I do have unlocked, but when I go to a Transmogger or use my Yak, my selection is nowhere near what I’m suppose to have access to (and that’s not counting holiday/covenant unlocks, because obviously, those are locked.).

I can’t see a pattern on what/why I’m missing these items. Some of them are drops from dungeons/gear, some are quest rewards. Just seems to be random on what I’m missing and what I’m not. Is there a fix to this that I’ve missed in a thread somewhere? Is it a known bug/issue that Blizzard is working on or is the game just being a little wonky and may (hopefully) fix itself come tuesday at reset?

Quick Edit: It appears my Cloaks are fine… but that’s it.

Issue Resolved; Lesson Learned, make sure that your settings haven’t been changed before panicing.

What level are those characters? Some appearances are restricted by level.

Level 50 for my Mage, level 60 for my Warlock. Checking this character (lvl 60 DK) currently and it’s affecting them as well.

I have several appearances that appear for one or two characters but not others of the same armor type. One was a purchased BoE, another was a Horde-restricted PvP world quest reward from Legion. No doubt there are others, but who has time to try to cross-check everything on all their characters?

During Legion I farmed up some rare drop cloth armor in Argus. The shoulders never appeared on the appearances tab for any character but the one that farmed that piece. I put in a ticket and got back a form letter explaining to me why the majority of cloth wearers are probably not eligible for that piece of that set. Clearly they hadn’t even read my ticket.

I sent it back as still a problem. Within an hour it was fixed.

Make sure that you don’t have a filter turned on in the mog window.

Stupid idea, I know. But it’s worth checking.

…FML.

So, apparently this was the issue. I was letting my son change up my mog while I was cooking dinner (he’s 6 and wants to play) and I guess he changed some settings? I dunno… but good lord. I should have known to check this.

Thank you… facepalms so hard he goes through his face.
